Principal Software Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Software Architect to lead the transformation of a Cloud Fax platform into a modern, cloud-native microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and lead the migration of a legacy software as a service into a cloud-native microservices platform
• Design scalable, resilient systems capable of handling real-time, time-sensitive communications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce architectural standards and present technical strategies to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise software architecture, focusing on cloud modernization and telecom systems
• Proven experience rearchitecting monolithic systems into microservices
• Deep understanding of cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines)
• Experience deploying and scaling services on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong background in real-time systems and telecom protocols, particularly SIP
