Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer - Edge Delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Write C and Rust code to enhance Varnish and meet customer demands
• Lead full lifecycle projects, ensuring progress and communication with stakeholders
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years of production experience as a software engineer
• Minimum 5 years working on networked/distributed/cloud systems at scale
• At least 3 years of experience with C or Rust
• Ability to coordinate incident response and mitigation
• Demonstrable experience in lieu of formal CS education is acceptable
