Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Software Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex backend systems and services
• Take ownership of technical projects, driving them from concept to production
• Collaborate with a team to enhance deployment processes and manage data ingestion pipelines

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering or equivalent education and experience
• Proficiency in backend languages such as Java, Python, or Go
• Experience with modifying distributed SQL query engines like Trino
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, especially Kubernetes
• U.S. Citizenship required; current U.S. Government Security Clearance is desired
