Program Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Program Associate to support climate policy communications and public affairs efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement joint communications strategies across multiple issue campaigns
• Coordinate earned media and press outreach, including pitching news items to journalists
• Produce high-quality media materials and maintain media lists while fostering relationships with key reporters

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in communications, public relations, or policy campaigning, preferably related to climate change or clean energy
• Interest or familiarity with climate, housing, air quality, and energy policies
• Experience with digital strategy and knowledge of emerging digital marketing trends
• Ability to analyze complex policy issues and communicate them effectively to diverse audiences
• Highly reliable, organized, and self-motivated with a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion
