Public Relations Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Public Relations Associate to support a high-profile account in the entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of PR strategies to elevate brand visibility
• Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media advisories, and pitches
• Build and maintain updated media lists and foster strong relationships with journalists and outlets

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional PR or communications experience (internships a plus but not counted toward requirement)
• Experience planning and coordinating events or press activations
• Experience with PR/monitoring tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater) preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
• Local to the Tampa Bay area with availability to attend live events
