Job Summary

A company is looking for a Publishing Editor responsible for the financial and editorial management of society journals in Science, Technology, and Medicine.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of journals, balancing strategic development with daily operations
• Build and maintain relationships with editors, societies, authors, and reviewers to support journal success
• Monitor financial performance and manage society and editor contracts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• At least two years of publishing experience, preferably with an academic journal publisher
• Working knowledge of the journal publication process
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Understanding of how research is conducted
