QA Engineer I

Job Summary

A company is looking for a QA Engineer I PayFac Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Own daily QA execution for assigned services and front-end features, balancing automation with manual testing
• Build and maintain API test automation for REST endpoints using Java and Rest Assured, and implement BDD flows
• Contribute to performance and scale testing using JMeter, and automate front-end tests for ReactJS applications

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years in software quality engineering or test automation
• Solid Java programming skills and hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API testing
• Familiarity with Playwright for UI automation or equivalent tools
• Exposure to performance testing with JMeter and knowledge of HTTP, REST, and JSON
• Experience testing React or other SPA frameworks and familiarity with Git workflows
