Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality and functionality of software products through rigorous testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute detailed test cases, scripts, and plans for software applications
• Identify, track, and report defects, collaborating with the development team for issue resolution
• Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to ensure software can handle expected user traffic

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as a QA Engineer or in a similar role
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks and project management tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Postman)
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Java, or JavaScript
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git)
