Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Dietitian Nutritionist for a remote position focused on virtual weight management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor the nutritional status of patients, adjusting care as needed based on scientific literature and clinical data
• Provide medical nutrition therapy and counseling, including developing and implementing nutrition care plans
• Communicate with healthcare team members to integrate nutrition into comprehensive patient care and complete required documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree if Registered Dietitian (RD) before 1/1/2024, Master's degree if RD on or after 1/1/2024
• RD/LDN registry eligible or Registered Dietitian licensed by the applicable state Board of Dietetics and Nutrition
• RD/LDN registration required within 4 months of hire if registry eligible
• Specialty certification may be required as determined by department managers
• Demonstrated knowledge of growth and development principles relevant to the patient population served
