Job Summary

A company is looking for an Academic Advising Specialist to provide support and guidance to undergraduate students in the College of Education.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic advising to students, assisting with course selection, academic planning, and resource connections
• Monitor student progress and engage in proactive advising interventions for diverse backgrounds
• Coordinate student events and collaborate with faculty and advisors to enhance student engagement and success

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Experience in a higher education student services setting or related advising experience
• Commitment to educational equity and supporting diverse populations
• Demonstrated computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to establish rapport and engage effectively with students
