Job Summary
A company is looking for an Access Services Representative I - CPAS.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound and make outbound calls to facilitate patient appointment scheduling and relay critical information
- Document patient demographics and insurance information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Act as a liaison for patients to obtain necessary referrals and provide information about specialty programs and clinics
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
- Relevant experience in a healthcare and/or contact center preferred
- Proficient knowledge of computers and office equipment
- Ability to comply with HIPAA requirements to ensure patient privacy
- Strong interpersonal skills to contribute to departmental and organizational objectives
