Job Summary
A company is looking for an Administrative Records Specialist responsible for managing decision files and supporting FOIA requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and organize decision files for multiple rulemaking efforts
- Prepare searchable indices of documents relevant to rulemakings and support FOIA response preparation
- Coordinate with BLM staff to ensure all relevant correspondence and documents are incorporated into decision files
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience related to developing decision files/project records and FOIA response
- Knowledge of Freedom of Information Act exemption categories
- Experience with document management and indexing
- Understanding of administrative record requirements for litigation
