Job Summary

A company is looking for an Administrative Records Specialist responsible for managing decision files and supporting FOIA requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and organize decision files for multiple rulemaking efforts
  • Prepare searchable indices of documents relevant to rulemakings and support FOIA response preparation
  • Coordinate with BLM staff to ensure all relevant correspondence and documents are incorporated into decision files
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience related to developing decision files/project records and FOIA response
  • Knowledge of Freedom of Information Act exemption categories
  • Experience with document management and indexing
  • Understanding of administrative record requirements for litigation
