Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Security Engineer to architect and build security systems for banking applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement security controls across the technology stack
• Hunt for and remediate complex vulnerabilities in banking applications
• Design security monitoring, automated threat detection, and incident response systems

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years in application security, security engineering, or software development with a security focus
• Deep understanding of web application security and common vulnerability classes
• Experience with security testing tools and ability to build custom security tooling
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and security architecture
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS and SOC 2
