Associate Art Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Art Director to manage creative direction and development of various product lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage creative initiatives and product development for non-book products, keeping the team informed of progress and challenges
• Direct design and production of projects including nonfiction books, activity kits, and stationery
• Mentor direct reports on the Design Team and collaborate with other teams to meet project deadlines and standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of design experience in publishing, packaging, or children's businesses
• Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• A diverse portfolio showcasing design work and knowledge of layout and typography
• Understanding of printing processes related to publishing or children's products
• BFA or similar degree in Graphic Design or a related field is a plus
