Associate GIS Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate GIS Analyst to support their GIS team in analyzing and managing geographic data.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of GIS databases and systems
• Perform spatial analysis and geospatial data processing to support projects and decision-making
• Create, update, and maintain digital maps and other GIS-related products

Required Qualifications

• Certification in GIS (e.g., GISP)
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Information Science, Urban Planning, or a related field
• Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or other GIS platforms
• Experience in spatial data analysis, including data manipulation and geospatial modeling
• Strong knowledge of spatial data formats (e.g., shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML, etc.)
