Automation Test Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Automation Test Engineer to build automated tests and ensure quality across systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive testing across API/integration layers and end-to-end workflows
• Identify systemic risks and recommend improvements for reliability and accuracy
• Convert manual smoke tests into automated tests and integrate them into CI/CD workflows

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in test automation for frontend and backend/cloud-based services
• Strong experience with Playwright for E2E and UI testing
• Proficiency in testing RESTful APIs and integration points
• Experience with test case management tools like TestRail
• Ability to identify gaps in observability and improve system confidence
