Back End Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Back End Engineer - Data Fetching.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the full development life cycle for data ingestion projects
• Design, implement, and maintain robust data collection pipelines from third-party sources
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness

Required Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of one or more modern software languages (Ruby, Python)
• Understanding of RESTful systems and principles of good API design
• Experience with REST APIs, HTTP request libraries, and HTML parsing tools
• Ability to debug and adapt in fast-changing data environments
• Experience fetching public data from platforms like the Apple App Store or Google Play is a plus
