Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer for the Personalization Team (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy robust ML systems and algorithms for personalized product discovery experiences
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical partners to develop and update personalization features
• Participate in architectural discussions and optimize the system architecture for the Personalization domain

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Python and server-side coding
• Familiarity with relational databases, key-value databases, and distributed systems
• Experience building services based on ML models
• Experience working on high-traffic websites with robust systems
• Experience with public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
