Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer to build a web platform that integrates AI to assist medical device sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust backend services using Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and Elastic
• Collaborate with the frontend team to define and implement APIs for the user interface
• Lead the design and development of agentic AI architecture for customized user experiences

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of combined backend and platform engineering experience
• Experience building APIs with an interpreted language like Python, Ruby, or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain/LangGraph, CrewAI, or LlamaIndex
• Experience operating agentic AI or LLM-backed features in production
• Experience leveraging customer feedback to define and build product features
