Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer (Backend) to join their engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services for conversation processing and data storage
• Integrate AI/ML models into production systems in collaboration with MIT partners
• Build and enhance APIs for mobile and web applications while contributing to architectural decisions

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, primarily in backend roles
• Proficiency in database design and optimization with PostgreSQL
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, particularly Kubernetes and AWS
• Ability to work on a small team and handle various backend tasks such as API development and performance optimization
• Familiarity with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Falcon
