A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Payment Policy Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain corporate payment policies, ensuring alignment with the Plan's adjudication systems
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on Plan operations
- Collaborate with various departments to implement and manage payment policy changes effectively
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 6 or more years of experience in managed healthcare, claims processing, or payment policy
- Extensive knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding principles
- Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial coding rules
- AHIMA or other nationally recognized Coding Certification preferred
