Key Responsibilities of the Benefit Plan Builder:
- Build and configure new benefit plans in accordance with detailed plan documentation
- Update system settings for new group implementations and plan amendments
- Validate and align plan language with intended group benefits and system configuration
Qualifications and Skills for the Benefit Plan Builder:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience as a Claims Examiner or in plan building
- Familiarity with benefit administration systems such as VBA, Javelina, or GBAS preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Accurate typing and 10-key skills
