Billing Advocate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Advocate (Part Time).

Key Responsibilities

• Submit inpatient and outpatient claims to Government payers and follow up until payment is received
• Verify eligibility, member benefits, and authorization requirements for claims submission
• Track claim status and communicate with client hospitals regarding accounts

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma required
• 1+ years' experience in hospital or professional claim billing and follow up preferred
• 1+ years' experience with electronic medical records such as EPIC, Cerner, or Meditech preferred
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, Windows, and Exchange email required
• Ability to work remotely with a suitable home internet connection
