Job Summary
A company is looking for a Biomedical Informatics Specialist II.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead high-level functional systems work and provide expert oversight of biomedical content development
- Act as a primary liaison with clients and stakeholders, ensuring project requirements and standards are met
- Maintain and enhance domain-specific biomedical information systems content in alignment with industry standards
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of study and specialization
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in biomedical or scientific terminology systems design, development, and management
- A PhD plus 10 years of relevant experience or a master's degree plus 15 years of relevant experience is required
- An MD, DO, PhD, or PharmD with at least five (5) additional years in biomedical information systems content design and management is preferred for senior specialists
- For specialists in pathology, an MD or DO with specialization in pathology and a minimum of five (5) years of clinical or academic pathology experience is required
