California Licensed Telemedicine Psychiatrist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Telemedicine Psychiatrist for a Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (vIOP) on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and establish diagnoses for vIOP participants
• Provide psychopharmacological management, including prescribing and monitoring medications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement holistic treatment plans

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO, ABPN board certified in psychiatry
• Unrestricted California license
• Leadership experience with a strong background in teaching and collaboration
• Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises
• Experience providing telehealth services preferred but not required
