Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder (Cert) to work remotely and full-time.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare statistical reports and code diseases and operations according to classification systems
• Maintain indices according to established policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with coding procedures and reimbursement systems

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Graduate as RHIA, RHIT, CPC, or CCS from an approved program
• Minimum of 2 years of coding experience
• Ability to code Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, and ASC charts proficiently
• Computer proficiency and knowledge of ICD 9-CM/CPT coding
• Licensure or certification as RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CPC preferred
