Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder - National Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive provider inquiries and perform code reviews on professional and facility claims
• Abstract and code diagnoses and procedures from medical records, ensuring compliance
• Review medical charts electronically and document requested information from records

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
• Active coding certification (CPC, CPC-A, COC, CCS, CCS-P, CCA, RHIA, or RHIT)
• 1+ years of medical coding experience with CPT
• 1+ years of medical coding experience with ICD-10
