Job Summary

A company is looking for a Care Operations Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day operations of the SurgeryCare product, ensuring accurate member case placement and post-service claims review
• Collaborate with the Care Support Services team to manage case placement workload and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Develop and implement coding policies and standard operating procedures that adhere to legal and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in medical coding, healthcare operations, or revenue cycle management, preferably with episodic bundles
• Active medical coding certification (CPC, CCS, CMC, or equivalent) required
• Deep understanding of medical coding systems including CPTs, HCPCs, DRGs, and ICD-10
• Experience with medical billing and claims auditing, and working with providers and carriers/TPAs
