Certified Medical Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Medical Coder for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize resources to identify appropriate medical codes and ensure compliance with coding guidelines
• Generate queries for unclear clinical documentation and follow up with providers as necessary
• Manage multiple work demands while maintaining productivity and turnaround time standards for medical records

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or higher
• Certified medical coder through AHIMA or AAPC
• 1+ years of experience in ICD 10 coding / HCC
• Access to a designated quiet workspace and secure Protected Health Information (PHI)
• Ability to work between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST
