Job Summary

A company is looking for a Profee Coder in Health Information Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Code medical records for physicians and mid-level providers, ensuring timely and accurate assignment of ICD 10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Maintain a quarterly quality score of 95% or greater while adhering to ethical coding standards
• Stay updated on coding guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy in billing

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Completion of a Coding Course
• Preferred 1-2 years of related experience
• Required certification in one of the following: CPC, COC, CIC, RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CRC, CPC-A, CIC-A, or COC-A
