Certified Professional Coder Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee activities for multiple value streams within the revenue cycle
• Analyze data, document process flows, coordinate changes, and resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with all relevant statutes, regulations, and payer policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 10 years in healthcare, including 5 years in management
• Certification as Professional Coder (CPC) or Coding Credential through AHIMA required
• Experience in clinic/hospital financial operations
• Previous experience managing a large and/or complex department budget
• Extensive knowledge of billing guidelines and Federal and State billing regulations
