Chief Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chief Architect to lead the architectural vision and technical roadmap across its platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Set architectural direction and lead modernization of legacy systems to scalable, cloud-native architectures
• Oversee architectural decisions across application layers, APIs, data models, and cloud infrastructure
• Establish architecture review processes and drive technical innovation by evaluating emerging technologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in senior architecture leadership roles
• Proven experience with large-scale SaaS or marketplace platforms and managing architects across multiple products
• Strong background in system design, distributed systems, APIs, and cloud technologies
• Deep understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and security principles at scale
