Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer 1.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure components in AWS according to best practices
• Participate in design and build projects to ensure resiliency, scalability, and cost optimization of cloud environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical expertise for complex platform issues

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure
• Production experience with Amazon Web Services, including VPCs, EC2, and S3
• Strong generalist engineering skills with an interest in cloud networking and infrastructure
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Linux operating systems
• Solid understanding of IT compliance, information security, and risk management
