Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to provide cloud engineering support for multiple products serving a United States Government customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure for applications, including hardware, software, networking, and security policies
• Automate testing, deployment, and configuration management processes while maintaining infrastructure reliability and security
• Collaborate with government representatives to address software issues and perform intensive testing of applications

Required Qualifications

• Experience in planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level software applications
• Expertise in large-scale distributed systems and hybrid or multi-cloud environments
• Proficiency with GitLab for CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, and programming languages like Python, Java, or GO
• Deep understanding of AWS, Azure, and GCP, along with experience in Kubernetes and system integration tools
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (SEC+ or equivalent)
