Key Responsibilities

• Engineer business applications utilizing COBOL and JCL in a mainframe environment
• Update existing COBOL programs and develop procedures for improved data handling
• Design, code, test, and validate software programs to meet user requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience
• 4 - 9 years of experience in software programming and testing
• In-depth knowledge of mainframe architecture and relevant technologies such as COBOL and JCL
• Experience with relational databases for software programming
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices and life cycle methodologies
