Cognos Lead Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cognos Lead Developer to drive the customization of Cognos Analytics UI and lead enterprise reporting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the customization of Cognos Analytics UI to enhance user experience
• Design and develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on stakeholder requirements
• Administer Cognos environments, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Cognos Analytics, including UI customization and report development
• Proficiency in Cognos Report Studio, Dashboarding, and Framework Manager
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Cognos extensions
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Snowflake)
