Key Responsibilities
- Perform follow-up on outstanding insurance balances and obtain payment confirmation
- Document all actions taken on accounts to ensure a clear resolution process
- Analyze assigned accounts to maximize collection efforts and ensure compliance with regulations
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED required
- Associate Degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in medical collections or healthcare revenue cycle operations required
- Experience with insurance follow-up and claim resolution in a healthcare setting preferred
