Commercial Counsel, State Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Counsel II, Commercial to join their Legal team as a senior legal leader focused on commercial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate complex SaaS agreements and other commercial documents
• Partner with business teams to analyze and negotiate vendor agreements
• Mentor and provide guidance to other attorneys and Legal staff

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial SaaS contracts
• Experience with various commercial contracts including vendor and professional services agreements
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school and active admission in at least one State Bar
• Experience in technology law issues, including software licensing and data privacy
• Demonstrated ability to balance legal risk with business objectives
