Commercial Underwriter Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Underwriting Associate to serve as the primary point of contact for insureds and lienholders regarding policy-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming calls and follow-up calls, providing superior customer service
• Research policy information and exercise underwriting authority while escalating risks as necessary
• Process high volume policy change requests and assist with questions related to billing and compliance

Required Qualifications

• One (1) year or more of related Property & Casualty experience
• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
• Bilingual in English/Spanish required
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
• Dependable and reliable with strong computer skills
