Key Responsibilities
- Oversee proactive communications and media relations efforts, collaborating with various teams to implement strategic communications plans
- Lead media relations and crisis communications, managing press inquiries and developing reactive communications plans
- Manage people and external vendor relationships, providing feedback and coaching to direct reports and ensuring alignment with team goals
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of communications and media relations experience
- Experience in advocacy, policy, and legal communications with a focus on impactful cross-channel campaigns
- Proven ability to lead crisis communications efforts and develop proactive response systems
- Excellent knowledge of the global media landscape and experience cultivating journalist relationships
- People management experience, with a commitment to professional development and team impact
