CPA Director of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Accounting & Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy development and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
• Manage and develop a high-performing finance team while promoting justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of direct experience in accounting with a relevant bachelor's degree, or 10 years in matrix accounting environments
• CPA certification is required
• Proficiency with enterprise technologies such as NetSuite and Salesforce
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and non-profit accounting procedures
• Experience in a supervisory capacity with a commitment to equity and cultural sensitivity
