A company is looking for a HME Customer Care Representative.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming requests for referrals for new orders and refills, including insurance verification
- Build equipment orders based on patient medical records and coordinate patient services
- Provide instructions to patients and coordinate delivery of requested services
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with hospital operations
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with commonly used office software products
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
