A company is looking for a Customer Service Associate who provides effective and efficient customer service to patients and doctor's offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Place and receive calls and faxes for prescription refills and provide information on mail order pharmacy benefits
- Respond accurately and courteously to patient inquiries and assist with routine pharmacy benefit questions
- Document calls and provide timely information on order status and product knowledge requests
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of customer service experience and 1+ year of computer experience
- Demonstrated flexibility, professionalism, and courtesy in customer interactions
- Familiarity with drug names, refill processes, and pharmacy benefits
- Ability to manage multiple functions during calls
- Knowledge of HIPAA laws and patient confidentiality regulations
