Cybersecurity Tier 3 Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tier 3 Analyst (Technical).

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze security-related events escalated from Tier 2 Analysts
• Provide feedback to Tier 1 Analysts and Analysts in training on ticket content
• Collect and maintain metrics for various areas of the cybersecurity program

Required Qualifications

• Working towards a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 0-3 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, preferably in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment
• Proficiency in analyzing security logs and network traffic to identify potential threats
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst CySA+ or iSC2 Certified in Cybersecurity
• In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
