Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer in Costa Mesa, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze results and communicate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Build and support analytics backend systems for business intelligence
• Extract data from complex data warehouses using SQL and/or stored procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related discipline
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics backend systems
• Experience with big data platforms such as Hadoop and Cloudera
• Proficiency in Python (PySpark, pandas) for data engineering
• Knowledge of BI reporting systems such as Tableau
