Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer to join their collaborative and fast-moving team in the mining and compute industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Build scalable and reliable data pipelines that provide accurate data feeds from internal and external systems
• Govern scalable & performant cloud-deployed production relational and non-relational databases
• Collaborate on architecture definitions, ensuring solutions are scalable and secure

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience
• Experience building both streaming & batch data pipelines/ETL
• Expert in Python, PostgreSQL, and PL/pgSQL development and administration of large databases
• Experience with data warehouse technologies (Trino, Clickhouse, Airflow, etc)
• Deep understanding of programming and experience with at least one programming language
