Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer to design and implement data flows for operational systems and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build data streaming systems while optimizing existing data flows
• Conduct data profiling and source system analysis to support data usage
• Participate in the design, building, and testing of data products and integration services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 5-10 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
• Experience with big data pipeline architectures and data sets
• Proficiency in object-oriented scripting languages such as Scala and/or Python
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and relational/NoSQL databases
