Key Responsibilities
- Gather, organize, and prepare source documents for data entry
- Review and correct data for discrepancies and ensure accuracy against original documents
- Maintain confidentiality of personal and financial information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 6 months related experience or equivalent training
- Knowledge of general computer operations and multiple software programs, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance
