Data Science Extern

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Science Extern, Experimentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract insights from large data sets and collaborate with the product team on data-driven ideas for product improvement
• Design and implement statistically rigorous experiments, including A/B tests, in partnership with the product and development teams
• Monitor, analyze, and present findings from product tests to inform product decisions

Required Qualifications

• Recently completed or currently pursuing a degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Math, Economics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Engineering
• Experience with SQL
• Basic knowledge of R or Python for data analysis
• Some experience or coursework in data analysis, experiment design, A/B testing, and statistical methods
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts related to hypothesis testing and experiment design
