Database Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Engineer (SQL Server & Azure Cosmos DB).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain database solutions using SQL Server and Azure Cosmos DB
• Optimize database performance and monitor health to ensure high availability and reliability
• Develop and execute data migration strategies, particularly from Azure Cosmos DB to SQL Server

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Database Engineer with Microsoft SQL Server
• 5+ years of experience with Azure Cosmos DB, including designing and implementing solutions
• Proven experience with data migration projects from Azure Cosmos DB to SQL Server
• Strong understanding of database design principles and proficiency in T-SQL
• Familiarity with Azure data services and database monitoring tools is a plus
